Carriage of dangerous goods by road transport is associated with obtaining the required permits and with certification of the motor vehicles. Carriage of dangerous goods in maritime containers involves the special surcharge – „Hazardous charge”, the amount of which depends on the class of hazard in accordance with IMO Classification of Dangerous Goods. Many seemingly ordinary goods, such as: paints or batteries with electrolyte – are, actually, dangerous goods.
